Questions CPAs ask before registering

Anything else, reach us through the help centre.

Do these estate planning courses count as verifiable CPD?add

Yes. Every program includes a certificate of completion showing your verifiable CPD hours, which you can report to CPA Ontario, CPA BC, CPA Alberta, CPA Quebec, and the other provincial bodies.

I am new to estate planning. Where should I start?add

Start with Estate Freeze. The freeze sets up the share structure that trust, succession and post-mortem planning all build on.

What if a beneficiary lives in the U.S.?add

These programs cover Canadian estate planning. When a child or grandchild is a U.S. person, see The Troublesome US Beneficiary in our international tax programs.

How long do I have access?add

Access lasts 12 months from the date of registration. Watch, pause and return to a program as often as you like during that time, and download the slides and notes for use on client files.

Can I take more than one program?add

Yes. Each program stands on its own and earns its own verifiable CPD certificate, so you can take them in any order. If you are new to estate planning, start with Estate Freeze.
